Hey there friends and family and fellow bloggers! I know a lot of you have kids, or maybe work with kids, so I am appealing for your ideas!
I work at a place that oftentimes assigns me to work with the children. I LOVE working with the children, but oftentimes there are a few hours in the day where all they have to do for fun is roughhouse with each other and throw paper airplanes...which leads to random objects getting thrown in the air, toys getting fought over or thrown at others, and the ever-present lava-monster games (...i.e. running and bouncing on all the furniture on the unit, which leads to people falling off and getting hurt and then starting fights 'cause "someone pushed me off!")
(I just thought that little girl's face was priceless....:) )
(dont worry, I have no idea who these kids are....they aren't the ones I work with..ha)
So, my question to you all is, what are some good, easy entertainment ideas for children ages 6-11 (both indoors and outdoors...though we tend to need more indoor ideas)? And we are talking about really rowdy kids...ha! Any ideas are helpful! THANK YOU!!!!
oh my...um running around things for sure! keep them occupied. simon says is a huge hit, red light green light, but i don't know if you have space for that...oh that's an adventure i am sure
