HOME!
Finally I am home! Yay! Well I've been home for a few days now. My aunt commented to me last night, "Shayna, you don't seem as happy as usual. It seems like you are hating the world about now." It's true! I realized how much I miss home, how much I am tired of trying to pull so much weight of the world around me. It's amazing how different life feels when you are with people who love and care about you. The world out there is so harsh--even in a BYU ward! People act nice and stuff, mostly, but there is such a missing element of love, support, strength, understanding, and at home they just love you for who you are and you don't have to put up any kind of front for them. Oh home, its so wonderful! I love the beautiful feelings of peace you can find here.

Shayna, I couldn't agree with you more. It's very frustrating sometimes to be the the BYU wards - actually I think its a cultural thing out here because we're taught that we should be nice and love everyone, but sometimes I think it turns into a show. Home is the best place, family is so important. Glad you're having a wonderful time with your family!
